This is what Dreams are made of

Nov 1, 2020

When Katelyn and I first met, she made it very clear that she had big dreams but a tight budget. I knew what I needed to do, make it happen. It’s her big day and dreams deserve to come true. Katelyn’s favorite flowers were those of movies and song lyrics. Daisies because of You’ve Got Mail and magnolias because of Thomas Rhett.. you get it! I thought it was the sweetest way to pick your favorite flowers. I told her that daisies might look a little too casual for a fancy wedding.. and that says a lot coming from Daisyhead herself. I really love daisies. But luckily, daisies are such trend setters that there are a lot of lookalikes out there. I used white cosmos for her and butterfly ranunculus have a similar look too. I wanted to match her ideas as closely as possible. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get any magnolias so I used peonys and white rose reflexed just right. Sometimes you have to play with the minds eye and trick people into seeing more then just a rose.

It’s very important to me to make each flower have a purpose and speak to who the bride is as best I can. I want the bouquet to reflect. Katie said she loved flowing and draping greens but dainty and romantic. That’s the best kind. She is the sweetest most deserving bride. I was so pleased to bring her dreams to life!

A great way to enjoy your weddings flowers that you love so much (hopefully lol) is to move the arch to behind your sweetheart table to frame you and your sweetheart!! It gives it a fresh look and makes sure you’re surrounded by flowers all day long!!
